Quick and customizable chicken wraps perfect for a busy weeknight meal, packed with flavor and satisfying textures.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups shredded chicken (cooked)
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (Cheddar or Monterey Jack)
  • 1 cup salsa (mild or spicy)
  • 1/2 cup Ranch dressing
  • 1 teaspoon mixed herbs (dried oregano, basil, or Italian seasoning)
  • 4 large tortillas (flour or corn)
  • Oil for frying (canola or vegetable oil)

Instructions

  1. Mix the Filling: In a medium bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cheese, salsa, Ranch dressing, and mixed herbs. Stir until well combined.
  2. Prepare the Wraps: Take a tortilla and place a generous portion of the chicken mixture in the center. Fold in the sides and roll it tightly to secure the filling.
  3. Heat the Oil: In a frying pan, heat about 1-2 tablespoons of oil over medium heat.
  4. Fry the Wraps: Once the oil is hot, add the wraps seam-side down. Cook for 3-4 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy. Carefully flip and cook the other side.
  5. Drain Excess Oil: Remove the wraps from the pan and place them on a paper towel to drain any excess oil.
  6. Serve and Enjoy: Serve the wraps warm with extra salsa or Ranch dressing on the side for dipping.

Notes

You can use rotisserie chicken for convenience; just shred it before mixing with other ingredients. Feel free to experiment with different cheeses and salsas.
