Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • Juice of 2 limes
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Sauté Chicken: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Season the chicken breasts with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  2. Cook Chicken: Add the seasoned chicken to the skillet and cook for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and fully cooked through.
  3. Set Aside Chicken: Remove the chicken from the skillet and set it aside on a plate.
  4. Sauté Garlic: In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds, until it becomes fragrant.
  5. Add Cream and Lime: Pour in the heavy cream and lime juice, stirring to combine. Allow the mixture to simmer for a few minutes until it thickens slightly.
  6. Coat Chicken in Sauce: Return the cooked chicken to the skillet, ensuring each piece is coated with the creamy sauce.
  7. Serve: Serve the dish hot, garnished with fresh cilantro if desired.

Notes

Adjust the Cajun seasoning to suit your taste. Fresh cilantro brightens the dish, though it is optional.
