Delicious steak bites coated in a rich cowboy butter sauce, perfect as an appetizer or a main dish.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound steak (sirloin or ribeye), cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Cowboy Butter: In a bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to create a smooth cowboy butter.
  2. Heat the Skillet: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat until shimmering but not smoking.
  3. Sear the Steak: Add the steak bites to the skillet in a single layer. Sear for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
  4. Coat with Cowboy Butter: Once cooked, reduce the heat to low and add the prepared cowboy butter to the skillet. Toss the steak bites in the melted butter until evenly coated.
  5. Serve: Enjoy immediately as an appetizer, or serve over a bed of greens for a delicious main dish.

Notes

Don’t overcrowd the skillet when searing. Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor.
