A delightful dish featuring tender chicken, rich cream, and perfectly cooked fettuccine for a comforting meal.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the fettuccine pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Add the chicken to the skillet and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and fully cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest before slicing into strips.
  3. Melt the butter in the same skillet. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant but not browned.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a gentle simmer. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is smooth.
  5. Add the drained pasta to the creamy sauce, along with the sliced chicken. Toss everything together to ensure the pasta is well coated.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

Ensure chicken is not overcooked for tenderness. Fresh ingredients yield better flavor.
