A comforting dish featuring tender beef tips simmered in a rich gravy, perfect for busy weeknights or family gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds beef tips (chuck or sirloin)
  • 1 packet onion soup mix
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Sliced mushrooms (optional)
  • Sliced onions (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the beef: Place the 2 pounds of beef tips into the Crock Pot. Make sure to distribute them evenly for better cooking.
  2. Mix the sauce: In a mixing bowl, combine the onion soup mix, beef broth, cream of mushroom soup, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir until well-blended.
  3. Combine with beef: Pour the sauce mixture over the beef tips in the Crock Pot, ensuring they are well coated.
  4. Season the dish: Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste. For added flavor, include sliced mushrooms and onions if desired.
  5. Cook low and slow: Cover the Crock Pot and set it to cook on low for 6 to 8 hours. The beef is done when it is tender and easily shreds with a fork.
  6. Serve and enjoy: Once cooked, serve the beef tips hot over rice, mashed potatoes, or noodles for a comforting meal.

Notes

Brown the beef first for added depth of flavor and ensure to use quality ingredients for the best result.
