A comforting and satisfying meal that combines tender chicken breasts, creamy soup, and fluffy rice, all cooked effortlessly in the slow cooker.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 cups rice (long grain or jasmine)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your favorite blend)

Instructions

  1. Add the chicken breasts directly in the bottom of your crock pot.
  2. Pour the cream of chicken soup and milk over the chicken, ensuring it’s well-coated.
  3. Sprinkle the rice over the top, followed by salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Gently stir the mixture to combine everything evenly, being careful not to break up the chicken too much.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours. Check for doneness—your chicken should be fully cooked, and the rice should be tender.
  6. About 30 minutes before serving, sprinkle the shredded cheese on top. Cover again and allow it to melt.
  7. Once everything is cooked through, serve the dish warm, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider searing the chicken breasts before placing them in the crock pot. Adjust seasoning to taste before serving.
