Tender, juicy pork chops slow-cooked in a rich brown sugar and garlic sauce, perfect for busy weeknights or meal prep.

Ingredients

  • 4 bone-in or boneless pork chops
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Mix the brown sugar, soy sauce, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper in a bowl until the sugar is dissolved.
  2. Sear the pork chops in a skillet with olive oil over medium-high heat for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  3. Transfer the seared pork chops to the crockpot and pour the brown sugar mixture over them.
  4. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 4 hours until tender.
  5. Serve warm with the cooking sauce drizzled over the top.

Notes

Searing is key for flavor. Use bone-in chops for added taste or boneless for easier serving. Avoid overcooking to keep pork tender.
