Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 pound bat wings (or substitute with chicken wings)
  • 1/2 cup hot sauce
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • Oil (for frying)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, mix together the flour, cornstarch, baking powder, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  2. Mix the Wet Ingredients: In another bowl, combine the hot sauce and milk until well blended.
  3. Coat the Wings: Dip each bat wing into the wet mixture, then roll them in the dry mixture.
  4. Heat the Oil: In a deep fryer or deep pan, heat the oil to 350°F (175°C).
  5. Fry the Wings: Carefully place the wings in the hot oil and fry for about 8-10 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Drain the Wings: Remove the wings from the oil and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil.
  7. Serve and Enjoy: Serve the wings hot with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

Maintain oil temperature for consistent frying and avoid overcrowding the pan.
