1 pound chicken breast, boneless and skinless
4 cups chicken broth
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup carrots, diced
1 cup celery, diced
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon dried thyme
Salt and pepper to taste
2 cups egg noodles
Instructions
Combine ingredients: In a crockpot, add the chicken breasts, chicken broth, cream of chicken soup, heavy cream, diced carrots, diced celery, chopped onion, minced garlic, thyme, salt, and pepper.
Mix it up: Stir to thoroughly combine all ingredients.
Set the heat: Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is fully cooked and tender.
Shred the chicken: Once cooked, remove the chicken from the crockpot. Use two forks to shred the chicken into bite-sized pieces and return it to the pot.
