A quick and nutritious baked salmon recipe that’s perfect for busy weeknights, offering flavor and health benefits.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (skin-on or skin-off according to preference)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper (freshly ground)
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill (or fresh dill if available)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prepare a baking dish by lightly greasing it with olive oil or lining it with parchment paper.
  3. Make the marinade by whisking together olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and dill in a small bowl.
  4. Coat the salmon fillets in the baking dish with the marinade, ensuring they are evenly coated.
  5. Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for 12 to 15 minutes, or until it flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
  6. Serve the salmon, allowing it to rest for a couple of minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra crisp, broil the salmon for the last 2 minutes of cooking.
