A delightful dish that combines the savory flavors of crisp bacon and tender chicken breasts with a sweet maple garlic glaze.

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 4 slices of bacon
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside, reserving grease.
  3. Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  4. Sear the chicken in the reserved bacon grease for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  5. Mix the maple syrup and minced garlic in a small bowl until combined.
  6. Pour the maple garlic mixture over the seared chicken in the skillet.
  7. Crumble the cooked bacon over the top of the chicken.
  8. Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, until the chicken is cooked through.
  9. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

Use a meat thermometer to ensure chicken reaches 165°F (75°C). Avoid overcrowding in the skillet for better sear.
